ABOUT ME

 I was born and raised in Poland till my early 20's and ended up in the US as an accidental immigrant due to the martial law in Poland. I came to Berkeley after graduate school in VA, to work in the Biotech field.  I am a geneticist by training and also have an M.B.A degree.

I knew almost nothing about Berkeley before I arrived, but after a few months I realized that this is “the best place in the known universe” and that it was truly lucky that I could make this my home.

 

My wife Uma and I have now lived here for almost 3 decades and raised our family here. Our son was born and raised here and educated in the Berkeley Public school system. I do not intend to leave Berkeley, so I care that we make viable and sensible political choices to fix our problems.

I am a licensed General Contractor who builds solar thermal installations and green building constructions.
